Oregon Gardens Fieldtrip

Today Hinton's class had a fieldtrip to the Oregon Gardens.

They went on a nature scavenger hunt.

 Kason was excited to be one of the "big kids".

Then we went looking for creatures in their natural environment.

 We found a bug to examine close-up!

By the end of the fieldtrip it was raining.  

But everyone had to stop to watch a snake s-l-o-w-l-y eating a frog!

April Fools!

This afternoon, as an April Fools joke, I put an Easter Egg kit dye tablet inside the faucet of the sink.  Hinton was pretty surprised when the water that came out was red!

Boxtrolls

 We started the day with two boys, and ended the day with two Boxtrolls!

Family Slumber Party

We had a slumber party in the family room with the boys tonight.
It's the second time we've done it, and they think it's a super treat!

Easter Egg Hunt!

Today I took the boys to an Easter Egg Hunt at their school.  The hunt for the big kids and the little kids started at the same time, so I only got photos of Kason.

After the Easter Egg hunts we went into the gym.

And met the Easter Bunny!

And played a bunch of games.
