Cookies for Santa

Yesterday we baked some Christmas cookies in anticipation of Santa's arrival.

 And today we frosted them. 
Or, Hinton and I frosted, and Kason worked quality control.

Hinton may have done a little sampling, too.

We were out of red food coloring, and barely had any green, 

so we had some alternatively-colored Christmas cookies.

Bedtime Storytime

We met some friends at the library for Bedtime Storytime tonight.  (Hi, Liz!)

After storytime we took the kids to play in the Discovery Room.  

It has a building theme right now.

An igloo made out of milk jugs big enough for the kids to play in!

When we got home Hinton read Kason a Piggie and Elephant book.

Christmas Storybook Land, 2013

We made our annual trek to Christmas Storybook Land this morning.  In the past we've always gone during the day with my friends and their kiddos, so this was Brandon's year attending.

We visited BJ and Danielle and the kiddos this afternoon.  Hinton and Sebastian had a lot of fun playing Hangman together.  (But how is it that I did not take a single picture of baby Eleanor?!  Probably because I spent most of the time holding her while she slept.)

Year Six, Month One

Ark Angels Christmas Program, 2013

Tonight was the Ark Angels Christmas Program.  Hinton got a bit dressed up, Kason didn't because he spent the evening playing with Paige at my aunt's house.

Hinton was Shepard #1

Hinton had 2 lines in the performance tonight:
"Is it just me, or am I seeing things?"

 and

 "A savior?  Awesome!"
